jeepney-riding always seems to amaze me.

I have had a lot of experiences riding different kinds of jeepneys going to different locations. All through the four years in college, i must say that it is within the bounds of the jeepney that I have learned so much about school and life. Since it was always an hour or so ride from downtown to Mintal, the jeepney-ride was something i look forward to. Whenever i have things to study or stuff to read, i do it in the jeepney, beside people who’s on their way home from the market, nursing students who are excited to go to MIntal for their shift or for people who just need to go somewhere.

the jeepney has always been equated with the Filipino culture. In fact, when foreigners are asked why they want to go to the Philippines, jeepney-riding is one of the things they would gladly want to try out aside from the beautiful weather and scenery that we could offer.
